Stigningsnedbør
Regn fra skyer dannet, når vinden tvinger luft op over bakker eller bjerge. Opstigningen over terræn og den medfølgende adiabatiske afkøling resulterer i kondensation af vanddamp og dannelse af nedbørskyer. Afhængig af atmosfærens stabilitetsforhold dannes konvektionsskyer eller stratiforme skyer.
