Cirrostratus
Også kaldet slørskyer. Højtliggende tågeagtige skyer uden tydelig struktur. De befinder sig normalt i en højde af 5-13 km og består af iskrystaller. Solen ses tydeligt igennem, og lysets brydning i iskrystallerne danner til tider en halo.
